A Big Day Tomorrow

Hi everyone and welcome back to my Blog.

This is another Blog Post.

Tomorrow is Monday!! So that means Values Assembly. 

I forgot to tell you that the Trusted Trekker Flim is going to be shown to Hornby Primary.

The T.T's have to say a line each and I have to introduce the Bloopers.

What should I say?

These are some that I have been thinking of:

1. "We had to keep retaking the some of the Funniest Scenes, So here are our Bloopers"

2. "Now for the Best part, Our Bloopers"

3. "We tried our Best but we couldn't stop laughing so we made a Blooper Video as well, 

here it is.

And... That's all I got so far.

Which one do you like the most or do you have better suggestions.

Our Lego Maze

Ciao everyone and welcome back to my Blog.
I'm Susie and this is another Blog Post.

Christina, Mea, Neveah, Finau and myself made a maze.

We made it a challenge.

So you had to collect all the items.

The HandCuffs are worth 10 points since they're the easiest one to get. 
The lego head is worth 20 points.
The telescope is also 20 points.
The fire is take away 40!!!

The Lost Plane...

Hi everyone and welcome back to my Blog and this is another Blog Post.

I justed finished my Picture Prompt writing and I want to share it with you.

Picture Prompt is when my teacher, Miss D shares us a document with us and we have to write a story around that picture. 
So here it is.

The Lost Plane

As I was exploring through the leaves and I found a plane.

It was all dirty and muddy like it had never been used before.

A huge and tall tree was covering it.

I tried to fix it with only the leftover pieces laying on the floor.

30 minutes later…

The plane was fixed and I could fly back Home.

Test Scores

So last Week I forgot to tell you that Hornby Primary Had a test day and I didn't tell you my stanines, a Stanine is a score from 1 - 9

6 for my STAR Test
6 for my PAT Test
and a 6 for my Maths Test.

Bar Graphs & Pie Graphs

Ciao everyone and welcome back to my Blog.

Today I am going to show you my Graph that my Quaid, Jhrnylle, Celine and Rheanne help me make. 

WALT: Turn data into a bar graph, turn a bar graph into a pie chart and use Google Sheets to make graphs.

Our Theme was: Prizes picked from the Prize Box.

So if you don't know what a pie or a bar graph is, let me tell you a little about it.
Pie Graphs are so you can see a whole and a Bar Graph is to tell who has the most or who has the less. So when you see my presentation, Hopefully you will understand more.

Weekly Words 8

Water Colours

Hi everyone and welcome back to my Blog.

This is another Water Colour Blog Post.

So today at School my class and I finished our Water Colours paintings.  

So I had Mea take this photo of my photo and me doing the middle splits, so I hope you like it.
Here it is...

So let me explain more about my watercolours painting.

First, before we start our Artwork we had to put tape on. That's why the white lines are there.


So if as you can see and you're probably wondering " What's that red painting suppose to be?"

Well, it was a FAIL. I used my friend's Water Colour Pencil and it looks really cool if it's wet but when it's dry it just looks like plain red.

The green painting was the Glad wrap Technique.

For the Glad wrap technique, you have to paint on the Glad Wrap and find a place on your paper.


The middle one is the Galaxy one. It was fun but it was really messy.

So for this one, you paint your Galaxy and wait for it to dry. When it's dry you need to use normal paint and use your brush and flick it.

Now for the last 2 which is the brown and the other purple.

You paint it then you put salt crystals on and if you put lots and lots, wait till it's dry. After you just take the Salt crystals off and you will have a rough and bumpy Artwork.

What Book I'm Reading Now?

Hi guys, welcome back to my Blog. If you're new on my Blog, I'm Susie and your reading one of my newest Blog Post.

So at school, I have to Blog about what book I'm reading now.

I have 2 books that I'm currently right now.

The first one is called Harry Potter and the 2nd one is called Smile. 


The Harry Potter Book:

There is a lot of Harry Potter, but I'm talking about the Chamber of Secrets.

Here is the cover of the book.

This Book reminds me of, me being a powerful Wizard with a powerful Wand.

The 2nd book that I'm reading is... Smile!!

Smile is one of my favourite book and here is the cover.

Raina Telgemeier wrote this book.

Raina wrote more books like Ghosts and Drama.

This Book reminds me of my nickname, Smiley.

My old teacher gave it to me because I always Smile

Spending a Day with my BFF ( Best Day Of My Life )

Hi everyone and welcome back to another Blog Post.

Today was Hello Hornby!!

I saw lots of my friends there like... Sophia D.

My friend Christiana and Olivia told me when we were up on stage performing.

I'll talk more about my friends later but for now, I'm gonna talk about our performance.

To be honest, it was really hard to concentrate on singing because of the 2 people beside me kept on talking.

The choir sang:

1st: Te Aroha 

2nd: A Million Dreams

3rd: Hallelujah  

Then the Kapa Haka Group went on and they were AMAZING!! 

Now I want to talk about my friends, Yay!!
So when I walked down Sophia spotted me, she ran and hugged me and we both Screamed.

Sophia was there because she was playing the song Hallelujah on guitar and singing for Talent Quest!!

The first thing we had was cake, Sophia got Red Velvet and I got Chocolate, it was Delicious.

I showed Sophia the free shoe section and then I asked for $3 dollars from my parents so Sophia and I can buy Hot Chips, we sat a sat on the Skate - Boarding Arena. 
1 minute later all our friends came up to us, some songs played and we danced to it, one of the songs was Girls Rule The World by the Haschak Sisters, we were dancing to the song and Shouting the lyric " Girls Rule The 
World " To the boys and their reaction was really funny.

Sophia and I left the other to go get some more cake.

Then we came up to some people that gave us some gummys and some people gave us a badge and we called them our lucky badge.

That the end my parents need to shopping so I wasn't there for Sophia's performance.

Highlights:

My mum took 2 photos of me and Sophia.
One was us lining up for a sausage sizzle and the other was with Me, Jessica and Sophia.
Best day of my life!!

Meeting the Crusaders for the 2nd time.

Hi everyone and welcome back to another Blog post, Today I'm at Hornby Hub and the Crusaders were here. This is my 2nd time meeting the Crusaders, the first time that I meet them was at Wharenui School ( my Old School )

I was really excited because now I have 6 signatures from the Crusaders.

I couldn't find the photo but I took a photo with the Crusaders.

A Fun Beach Day

Aloha everyone and welcome back to another blog post today I am going to tell you about yesterday after school.

So when I got home I started to change and get everything I need for the Beach.

When we arrived at the beach, my friend and I walked around the beach before more people get there. 

When my friend and I got back from our walk, everyone was here and was ready eating.
We had KFC, Fish & Chips and Pizza.

It was really fun and I was lucky that I didn't wet ( I only got my knee and my feet wet though )

We stayed there till the stars appeared.

My trip on Sunday

Hi everyone and welcome back to another Blog Post.

So I went to Timaru on Sunday because my dad had to go and fix the internet for the Nail Salon down in Timaru.

Timaru was really pretty but there was nothing to do.
Some parts looked a lot like England but they are all Shops.

It took us 2 Hours to get to Timaru.

But when we got there, My mum took some photos of me. So here they are.

So we were at the Nail Salon and then we walked down and we stopped here to take a photo.











This was when we were sitting on the couch inside the Nail Salon.

Kapa Haka

Hi readers, I'm Back with another Blog Post.

Yesterday AKA Thursday was our Kapa Haka Day.

We Learned the Hokey Pokey Dance, But in Maori.

It was really hard because I don't know a lot of Maori.

It was fun but I didn't want to join because most of the time I am really busy and I like to do work more. 

I can't remember what our teacher's name is but he is really funny and he likes to have FUNN!!

My friends are joining Kapa Haka, All of them.

I can't wait to see them after Kapa Haka, I hope they'll tell me all about it.
