Daylight Savings

Hey everyone,

Welcome back to my Blog! Today I have to answer some questions about Daylight Savings.

When Does Daylight Saving Happen Each Year?

Daylight savings starts on the 27th Of September ( Sunday ) at 2AM and ends on the 4th Of April 2021 ( Sunday ) at 3AM. So it happens every last Sunday of September.

What Year Did Daylight Saving Start On NZ?

It started in 1927. The current times have been fixed since 2007.

Why Was Daylight Saving Started?

People wanted to save money because they didn't want to pay for power and because people want another hour of daylight.

I think daylight saving shouldn't continue because we are losing a hour of sleep.

In AustraliaDaylight saving is observed in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, the Australian Capital Territory and Norfolk Island. Daylight saving is not observed in Queensland, the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Christmas Island or the Cocos (Keeling) Islands
