SLJ: Pilots

Hey everyone,

Welcome back to my blog, this is another SLJ blog post.

Today's blog is about Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart.
I had to compare and contrast Jean and Amelia.
Contrast means the difference.

Here is my google drawing.
Thank you for reading this Blog Post.
The question for today is: Have you heard about Jean Batten or Amelia Earhart?
The challenge for today is: Tell me a fact about Jean or Amelia.
I'll talk to you the next time I post.
Goodbye!

  1. Hey Susie!

Mikey here. Congratulations on finishing another great post! :)

I really like the way you've presented the information you learnt about Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart. It's super easy to read. Isn't it sad that Amelia went missing? She was so young! Did you know that Jane Batten was born in New Zealand? Pretty cool, huh? :)

It's awesome to see you getting stuck into the Week 1 activities, Susie. Did you enjoy learning about Jean and Amelia?

    Blog ya later! :)

    1. Kia Ora Mikey,

I didn't know that Jean was born in New Zealand! That's amazing.
I'm really excited for the rest of the weeks.
If you had a chance to choose, who would you fly with? Amelia or Jean?

      Looking forwards to your reply.

    2. Mōrena Susie,

I'm glad to hear that you're excited about the rest of the programme - I'm excited to see what creative posts you do to complete them! :)

Hmm... That's a tough question. I think I'd have to choose Jean though. Just because she's from New Zealand as well. What about you? Who would you choose?

      Have a wonderful day, Susie.

      Mā te wā,

      Mikey
