SLJ: Space

Hey everyone,

Welcome back to my Blog, this is another SLJ blog post.
Today's post is about Space.
So my BFF Nevaeh did this activity with me.
We had to write a Poem about being on Space.
We also had to pretend that we were Neil Armstrong ( The first person to land on Space ) but Nevaeh and I pretend we landed on the moon.

Here is our Poem.

Thank you for reading this blog post and Poem.
The question for today is: Have you ever had a dream about landing on the moon?
The challenge is: To write a short Poem about landing on the moon.
I'll talk to you the next time I post.
GoodBye!

  1. Hi Susie!

Me again. Congratulations on completing another activity - you're doing an awesome job! :)

This is a wonderful poem, Susie. I like the way you've presented it and how you've very cleverly made it rhyme. I always find writing rhyming poetry so tricky!

It's lovely that you and Nevaeh are able to work so well together but please remember that these activities are to be done independently. We're happy for you to work alongside your friends but it's important that your posts aren't exactly the same as we won't be able to give either of you the full number of points. If you'd like to have another go at this activity, and produce something that is in your own words, I'd love to read it and award you the full amount of points for it.

    Thanks Susie.

    Happy blogging! :)

  2. Hi Mikey,

Nevaeh and I didn't do the same Blog post, just the same activity.
Nevaeh decorated and I wrote the poem.
One question: How much points are we getting now?

Anyways I'm gonna work extra hard to earn my points back.
    Thank you for telling me.
    Looking forwards to your reply.

  4. Hi Susie,

You've both done a great job on your respective parts of the post but both you and Nevaeh have actually posted the exact same poem so unfortunately we can't give you the full 4 points. If you would like to write a new poem, I'd love to read it and then we'll be able to award you the full amount of points. If you choose not to re-write the poem, you will only receive half points.

    Bye for now,

    Mikey :)
