Hey everyone,
Welcome back to my Blog, remember the Blog post when I had to tell you about a time I was brave?
If you don't know what I'm talking about and you want to know about the Miracle On Hudson River, after you read this Blog post, keep scrolling down until you find SLJ: Hudson River.
Well I have a story for you today.
It's about my Year 6 Graduation.
So when I came to school for my Graduation, I was really scared. I also had to wait a long long time for my turn.
So I got really scared. Then when I heard my name, I went on stage and started my speech. I'm really sensitive but lucky I didn't cry. I finished and everyone clapped, I was really happy about my Speech!
Thank you for reading this Blog Post.
The question for today is: When was a time that you were brave?
The challenge for today is: Face your biggest fear if you want.
I'll talk to you the next time I post.
Goodbye!
I am a student at in Uru MÄnuka. In 2020 I was a year 7 and in 2021 I will be a year 8. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Hi Susie!
ReplyDeleteThank you for having another go at this activity - I knew you'd be able to think of something! :)
This is a great example of bravery. I'm not the biggest fan of public speaking either so I can totally understand why you were nervous. I'm so glad your speech went well. Will you be moving onto a new school next year, now that you've graduated from year 8? Or does your school go up to intermediate?
Thanks again for re-doing this activity, Susie. Keep up the amazing work! :)
Bye for now,
Mikey
