Hello readers, welcome back to my blog and this is a new blog post.
Today, I am doing an activity that is worth 4 points. It's not that many points but I'm grateful for it. So what I have to do is write three interesting facts about Aotearoa ( New Zealand ).
But of course, I won't do something boring so here is a sideshow. So sit down relax and I hope you like it.
I am a student at in Uru MÄnuka. In 2020 I was a year 7 and in 2021 I will be a year 8. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Tena Koe Susie,
ReplyDeleteYou have great presentation skills and I think it was a perfect idea to create a slideshow for this activity. You have successfully explained everything in detail and I'm pretty sure anyone who doesn't know about New Zealand would have enjoyed reading every piece of information you've shared with us.
Bonus facts were super helpful too! Did you listen to both of our national anthems? Which one do you prefer out of the two and why?
Since you have taken your time creating this slide show, I will share one of my favourite facts with you. Did you know that only 5% of NZ's population is human and the rest are animals? I was mind-blown when I first came across this!
Hope you have lots of fun blogging with us this summer :)
Talk soon,
Susie
Hi Susie, that was a very interesting fact. Do you know any more facts that you might like to share?
ReplyDeleteHi Susie,
DeleteDid you know that more people live in Auckland than in the whole of the South Island? Have you ever been to Auckland? If not, which part of the city would you like to visit?
From Susie :)
